Most importantly this is a FREE PATTERN

To make the crossbody bag I will be using the large clutch pattern, which I will be adding two D ring connectors and an adjustable strap. ⭐Click here for the adjustable strap tutorial.

All the instructions will be in the pattern download.
In this tutorial, I will show you how to sew the bag and add an optional crossbody strap.

Trim the pocket to match the bottom edge of the exterior front panel.

Install the magnetic snap closure

Cover the back of the magnetic snaps with interfacing and press to stick in place
This will prevent the snap from rubbing against the fabric and causing damage.

Sew the D-ring connectors 6" up from the bottom edge using 1/4" seam allowance.

Sew on the main zip following pattern directions.

Sew the lining panels right side facing with the exterior panels.

Pull the exterior panels right sides together and lining right sides together and stitch around all edges leaving an opening on the lining side for turning the bag right side out.

Trim seam allowance and stitch to close the opening. Steam press the entire bag staying clear of the vinyl accent piece.

Clip-on the adjustable strap and your Crossbody clutch purse are complete.
