In this step-by-step guide, we'll show you how to craft a vinyl rolled bag handle without using rope or tubing. This DIY project is easy to follow and allows you to customize your bag handles to match your style.  Why Vinyl? Today I'm not going to do much writing.
I just wanted to share with you my first sewing for 2019.

This is a Free pattern offered by RLR Creations Facebook group
The pattern is called the Idalena zip pouch and lanyard.

You can join their group on FB for a free download.
There are two other free patterns on the website for you to try.

This pattern is perfect for a scrap busting project because it only requires small pieces of fabric and it is easy to make.
The instructions are well written with clear images to follow.

Have a go at it and see what you can do.

The sewing on this pouch wasn't my best, but.... here goes nothing.

In the upper left-hand corner, you can see my pattern template. I made it from a cereal box.
Those are all the cut pieces for the pouch. Interfacing was added to the corresponding pieces.

This image is showing the zipper with extensions, Vinyl ID pocket, strap attachment and strap/lanyard.
I made my strap shorter than what is called for in the pattern instructions.
That is the beauty of bag making, you can make adjustments to suit yourself.

The zip is now connected to the front and back of the pouch, as you can see everything was not lined up properly. MINOR issues.
I know that you will do much better than I did.

This is the final product.↑
