How to Make a Diy Lip Balm Holder in 5 Minutes.

This is a quick tutorial anyone can make it, all you need to do is be able to stitch two straight lines. Beginner-friendly.

Is it difficult for you to find your lip balm in that huge handbag you keep dragging around? 
Well, search no more my friend.

Today you will make your very own lip balm holder with a split ring and optional swivel hook to attach to your handbag strap for easy access when needed.

Materials:

  1. 8"x1 1/2"non-fray fabric such as vinyl, leather or ribbon etc.
  2. A split ring
  3. Swivel hook (optional)
  4. Matching thread.
  5. Wonder clips if you have those.
  6. Rotary Cutter and self-healing mat
  7. Sewing machine.

Instructions

Cut the material at 8"x 1 1/2"

Fold one end at 1 1/2" and the opposite end at 1/2" and clip

 Place the split ring under the 1 1/2" end and replace clips.

Pull on the split ring to fold in the top edges and clip.

Fold up the 1/2" end to the top and the entire thing should measure 3 1/2" long.
